The BJP led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) coalition has won the 2024 elections with a full majority (292 out of 543 seats) for an unprecedented third consecutive term. However, in a small but significant difference from both the 2019 and 2014 elections, the BJP now faces new challenges as they have fallen short by 31 seats of obtaining a single-party majority, reducing its political dominance.

“The medium and smaller companies specialist, India Capital Growth (IGC), achieved 31 per cent over the past year, 78 per cent over five years and 312 per cent over a decade, while the more blue chip or big company-focused JP Morgan Indian (JII) delivered 19 per cent, 27 per cent and 151 per cent.”
